Thank you for taking part in the voting process for the Best African Circulating Banknote 2026 competition.
Before you begin, please take a moment to read the information below.
Competition Voting Process
The voting consists of two rounds.
Round 1 was held from 15 June to 14 July 2026 and is now officially closed.
During this stage, participants voted to select the 16 best banknotes from 42 nominated banknotes issued across Africa. Based on the public vote, the 16 highest-ranked banknotes have advanced to the final stage of the competition.
These finalists are now competing for the title of Best African Circulating Banknote 2026 in Round Two.
How to Vote
Voting is conducted on an external platform powered by Fillout.com. The voting link can be found at the bottom of this page.
To participate, please follow these steps:
Step 1 – Open the Voting Platform
Click the voting link provided below.
Step 2 – Sign In
To ensure fair voting, you must authenticate using any email address that can receive a secure login link (Magic Link).
Enter your email address, first name, and last name. Then check your inbox and click the Magic Link. After successful authentication, the voting platform will open.
Step 3 – Select Your Favorites
Review all 16 finalist banknotes and select the three that you believe deserve the title of Best African Circulating Banknote 2026.
Once you have made your selections, click the Submit Vote button.
For each of your three selected banknotes, assign a ranking:
- 1st Place – 3 points
- 2nd Place – 2 points
- 3rd Place – 1 point
The points awarded to each banknote will be used to calculate the final results of the competition.
Step 4 – Confirmation
After your vote has been successfully submitted, you will see a confirmation message shown below.
If you would like to receive the competition results by email, please check the box below.
Click the Finish button to complete your voting session and return to the competition page.
