First Report of the Mosaic Chapter

Dear friends,
Our chapter is the youngest within IBNS! It was officially registered on February 8, 2025, and we are pleased to present our first report.

Who We Are

The MOSAIC Chapter was established based on IBNS Region #5, which includes 96 countries across Eastern Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
We are proud to be the largest IBNS chapter by the number of countries represented!

Our Mission

The mission of the Mosaic Chapter is to build strong and lasting connections between banknote collectors and dealers across our extensive region.
We are committed to creating reliable bridges between countries and fostering cultural, scientific, and commercial ties among our members.

Our Resources

The domain ibnsmosaic.org has already been registered. A community group has been created on WhatsApp. We will soon invite you to visit our new website!

Our Projects

Several key initiatives have been placed under the management of the Mosaic Chapter:

• The Banknote of the Year Catalog,
• The Best Commemorative Banknote Contest.

These projects will become an important part of our activities, bringing participants from across the region together.

We are currently seeking volunteers for the following positions:

We invite you to meet us personally at the following numismatic exhibitions:

• Bern, Switzerland — May 17,
• Bratislava, Slovakia — June 6–7,
• Prague, Czech Republic — September 5–6.
